Description
The desk mat edition of Anime Girl Among Ruins has a rubber base.
Her grey jacket, dark skirt and boots stand out against crumbling slabs in the foreground. Behind her, roofless buildings reach toward a cloudy horizon, with faint light breaking through heavy clouds. The anime-style illustration uses slate blue, rust red, dusty brown and charcoal black, creating a melancholic mood. The figure looks small against the wide scene, and the mood stays quiet and contemplative.
A studio desk suits this piece because its cool tones and open skyline sit calmly beside sketches or loose paper. Placed where you work, it becomes a steady image to glance at during the workday, and the figure on the rooftop gives the frame one clear point of interest.
