Description
The metal poster edition of Bare Tree Under Milky Way has a 3 mm panel.
A photoreal render of a weathered trunk with twisted limbs, set on a stony desert floor. Deep blue and midnight navy fill the upper frame, crossed by a crowded band of stars. Warm amber brown lights the bark, and silver grey hills sit low on the horizon. The overall feel is hushed and remote.
A bedroom wall above the bed fits this piece, since its dark sky matches the low light of an evening room. A reading nook works as well, because the lit trunk sits centred in the frame and the rest of the picture stays still. Its hush fits a late, unhurried hour.
