Description
The desk mat edition of Bare Twisted Tree at Dusk has a rubber base.
The scene shows a bare tree with bent branches on dry ground, under a night sky dotted with stars. A sunset or sunrise hangs over far mountains, lighting the clouds. Deep navy and charcoal grey fill most of the frame, while dusky orange and pale blue-white sit near the horizon. The mood stays hushed and still.
A studio desk suits this piece because it gives the eye a steady view away from the screen during long drafting sessions. In a reading nook, the stars and pale blue-white clouds fit beside a book or a small lamp. Its dark upper half keeps a workday desk calm, with no bright patches to pull the eye.
