Description
The desk mat edition of Blonde Girl Sitting on Cliff has a rubber base.
Composition places the figure in the upper right, with the terraces and mountains running left and down. The palette leans on olive green and warm beige, with slate blue and cream white. A small blue flag marks the bottom edge. The anime-style illustration reads as calm, and the figure looks out, not at the viewer.
A reading nook suits this piece, since a sweep of land and distant mountains gives a reader something to look at between pages. Set it on a desk for daily use, where the muted olive and cream tones fit a workday without pulling focus.
