Description
With a rubber base, Children in a Colorful Forest is printed on a desk mat.
The scene shows three figures among sketched plants and oversized flowers, with brushstrokes in pink and orange across the background. Blush pink, coral orange, teal, cream and charcoal grey make up the palette. The sun sits in the upper left, framed by the trees. The mixed-media look feels playful and cheerful.
A reading nook suits this, since bright colors give a small corner a daily spot to sit and read. In a nursery, a child’s desk gets the same scene, with the group and blooms in view during homework. Teal and cream add a cool contrast to the warmer tones.
