Description
The poster edition of Deer in Paper-Cut Forest has three paper finishes.
Deep purple trees frame the scene on both sides, and the sun sets between them over layered hills. The deer is a dark silhouette in the foreground, standing on swirled teal ground. Golden yellow light fills the upper sky, and a small bird flies through it. The layered cut-paper edges give the whole picture a quiet, dreamy feel.
A hallway suits this picture because a long, narrow wall lets the sunset be seen from several steps away as people pass. In a reading nook, the dark figure and its quiet stream sit well above a reading chair, giving a pause from the book in hand. Both rooms have the space that a scene with wide sky needs.
