Description
Eye over Colorful Landscape is made to order on a desk mat.
The scene centers a human eye with a rainbow-tinted iris inside a dark blue semicircle. Below, paper-cut layers in warm red, golden yellow and teal build the land. Floating spiky spires drift overhead, and a spiky plant grows along one edge. A cream paper shape in the lower right corner sits against the glowing sky and keeps the mood surreal.
A studio workspace suits this scene, since one large image gives the worker something clear to return to during a workday. The bright tones also suit a cafe counter, where staff glance up through the day. A living room nook could hold it too, where it would be seen from every seat.
