Description
Figure Under Blue Moon is made to order on a desk mat.
Dripping red threads hang around the edges, mixed with jellyfish-like orbs. Grey mechanical segments run down the front of the high-necked gown. The off-white face sits in the upper third, lit by a large moon that glows against a dark field. Its style is digital illustration, and the mood reads as dreamlike.
On a studio desk, this print suits a workday spent at a screen. The near-black ground stays dark around the glow, so the light sits in one place. It works best where the workspace faces a plain wall, since the orbs and threads fill the frame.
