Description
Floating Castle Island is made to order as a canvas print.
The scene shows a large castle with turrets, perched on a craggy stone island. Ropes run down from its underside, each ending in a small basket, above water and a dark cliff. The palette leans on warm beige, muted ochre, slate grey and charcoal. In style, it is digital illustration, and the misty landscape fades toward the bottom.
This upright portrait suits a living room or a hallway. Hung on a plain wall, the turrets rest high in the frame, and the lower edge fades into open space. Anyone who likes moody, still scenes will find it fits well. Little else needs to share the view with it.
