Description
Choose the metal poster version of Floating House Above Cliff, with hanging hardware.
The scene shows a stone island floating high in a sky of large white clouds. A house with a gabled roof and a chimney sits on its grassy top, and thin roots hang from underneath. Two figures stand on a rocky ledge below and look up at it. Warm ochre and moss green sit against sky blue, and the overall feel is quiet and wondrous.
A kids room suits this scene, since the pair gazing up at a stone outcrop invite questions and talk. The reading nook fits too, because the calm blue tones leave space for a pause between pages. A studio can use the piece as a reference for drawing rocks, roots and roofs.
