Description
The desk mat edition of Floating Pods Above City Street has a rubber base.
Tall sci-fi towers with rounded pods rise on each side, their lights glowing against the wet road. Floating saucer-like structures and a tall spire reach into a cloudy dusk sky. The digital illustration uses charcoal, slate gray, amber and burnt orange. Quiet and cinematic, the scene keeps the figures centered in the frame.
A studio suits this picture, since the dim tones match a workday spent in front of a screen. Someone who draws, edits or designs can glance up at the rain on the road and the lit spire, then get back to work. The shadowed tones pair well with a plain setup, where the glow itself stands out.
