Description
With a pine frame, Freckled Woman with Auburn Hair is printed as a framed poster.
The scene uses near-black as its ground, with soft peach in the face and pale blue-grey in the fabric that crosses the left foreground. Light comes from one side and picks out freckles and loose auburn waves. The photoreal render keeps the mood calm and close, with the eyes set near the upper third line.
An entryway works well for this portrait, where a calm face greets people as they come in. Hang it on a wall with clear space on both sides so the close crop of the face and the draped fabric have room to stand alone.
