Description
The framed poster edition of Galleon in Stormy Sea has a pine frame.
Warm amber light glows from the foam around the hull, while twisted shapes loom at both edges of the frame. Slate gray clouds press down over the scene, and the palette leans on charcoal black and misty tones. The digital illustration style gives it a cold look with strong contrast.
A living room works well for this wide stormy sea scene, where the ship can be the focal point. Hang it above a desk or shelf so the ship sits at about eye level for anyone nearby. Leave open wall space around it so the heavy sky and dark water have room to read as a broad view.
