Description
The desk mat edition of Galleon Ship at Sea has a rubber base.
The hull is dark wood, with amber gold trim catching light from the glowing sails. Charcoal clouds fill the upper frame, and waves rise in deep teal across the lower half. A distant harbor with domed buildings sits on the left horizon. The digital illustration uses ivory and gold tones throughout, giving the picture a moody cast.
A desk in a reading nook suits everyday use, since the ship gives a strong subject to glance up at between pages. In a workplace, the picture adds a bold visual to a plain surface, and the rigging gives the eye somewhere to rest. Anyone spending a workday here can see the winged creatures circling the rigging.
