Description
With three paper finishes, Gothic Staircase Ascending is printed as a poster.
Navy-black steps and ornate iron railings rise through the scene toward a statue set in a niche at the top. Candelabras on both walls and potted ferns on the stone floor add small points of warm light against deep navy shadows. Muted silver and dark forest green show in the railings and plants. The mood is mysterious and grand, shown in a photoreal render.
Its long, receding perspective works well along a corridor or long hallway wall, where the eye follows the steps upward. Hang it at eye level so the statue at the top of the stairs sits near the center of the view.
