Description

The desk mat edition of Gothic Town Street at Dusk has a rubber base.

Red lanterns burn in windows and doorways along an empty street. Wet stones reflect their light, while spires rise into a red haze. The colours sit in deep crimson, charcoal, dusky rose and muted slate. Its mood is gloomy and eerie, with the eye pulled toward the centre. It works as a steady image for a desk in regular use.

A game room suits this image, where shadowed houses make a backdrop that stays out of the way. In a studio, the muted slate tones sit calmly beside other work. An entryway works too, since the scene can greet anyone who walks past.
