Description
The framed poster edition of Mountains Reflected in Lake has a pine frame.
Layered peaks in blue-grey rise above a calm lake, with evergreen trees along both shores. A few birds cross the cream-toned sky, and handwritten script in faded ink runs across the sky and water. The mixed-media look gives the scene a worn finish in slate blue, muted teal and charcoal green. The mood feels quiet and reflective.
Hang it above a sofa or sideboard, centred on the furniture so the reflected peaks sit low and the mountains rise into the open wall space. The horizontal line of the lake works well with the length of a low piece of furniture.
