Description
The framed poster edition of Mushrooms on Mossy Ground has a pine frame.
Dozens of detailed mushrooms of varied sizes grow from a dripping earthen ledge. Tall brown-capped fungi with red spots stand toward the right, while smaller amber and rust toadstools crowd below. Green moss, ferns and lichen fill the foreground against a parchment-like beige background. The mixed-media look gives the piece a whimsical, vintage feel.
A long hallway wall works well for this woodland scene, since the mushrooms spread across the width like a forest floor you walk past. Hang it at eye level, centered on the wall, so the mossy base sits low in your view.
