Description
You can order Musician Figures in Flowing Robes as a framed poster, with a pine frame.
A grid of figures in draped Greco-Roman gowns floats in staggered rows. Several wear laurel or leaf wreaths while they play violin, cello, trumpet, clarinet and a harp-like instrument. Soft painterly light falls on robes that shift from pastel to warm tones. Sky blue, sage green, golden yellow and warm orange sit against a plain white backdrop. The mood is joyful and airy.
A dining room works well with this print, since the lively musicians add movement to a meal space. Hang it as one of a pair with a similar print above a sideboard, with both pieces at the same height.
