Description
The desk mat edition of Old Sailing Ship in Fog has a rubber base.
Its ornate hull, trimmed in muted gold, sits low on churning water while a pale break in the storm clouds lights the sky behind. Charcoal black and misty grey tones dominate, with pale sage highlights on the waves. The digital illustration style leaves the ship centered and large, so the scene reads as one strong shape.
In a studio, the dark background gives a plain backdrop through long work sessions. A game room setup suits the moody setting, since the ghostly hull and faint lantern give a clear theme. In a hallway, the tall centered layout fits a narrow shelf beside the workspace.
