Description
The desk mat edition of Paper Cut Forest River has a rubber base.
A stream climbs through a forest of stacked paper-cut layers in coral, lime, violet and plum. Turquoise water leads the eye from the bottom edge up to a clearing, with cliffs and pink clouds on each side. Even light softens each shadow, so the piece reads as calm and dreamy.
Set it on a desk in a reading nook, where it becomes something to glance at between pages. The winding line gives eyes a clear path, which suits anyone who works at a screen all day. It fits a hallway desk too, where a little color cheers up a passing glance.
