Description
The poster edition of Pastel Interlaced Ribbon Pattern has three paper finishes.
Curved ribbons in pale pink, butter yellow and dusty blue cross over and under one another. Each band carries speckles resembling terrazzo stone. Cream fills the gaps. No figures or objects appear, so the weave itself carries the image. The portrait frame is filled evenly, edge to edge, with the interlacing.
Hang it in a living room above a sofa, where the wide, evenly filled weave can be seen across the whole seating area. Because the ribbons have no single focal point, it works well centered on a long wall.
