Description
Choose the framed poster version of Red Octopus Ink Calligraphy, with acrylic glass.
The octopus is coral red, with cream paper behind it and dark ink lines tracing its head, body and tentacles. Suckers curl along each arm. Large brush characters sit at the upper right and left, while seal stamps and dots in teal and mustard scatter around the figure. The mixed-media look feels bold and old-fashioned, yet cheerful.
A hallway suits this motif well, since people pass it often and can take in the piece as they walk by. Hang it at eye level so the ink outlines, the suckers on the tentacles, and the brush characters can be read up close.
