Description
You can order Retro Block Letterforms on a desk mat, with a rubber base.
Speckled print marks run across both shapes, giving the image a mixed-media finish. The upper form is dark brown and has narrow vertical openings that read as stylized letters. Below, a rust-colored arc fills the lower half. Thin lines add detail, and the palette stays warm and muted from top to bottom.
An office desk suits this piece, since it stays in view through the workday. Its few shapes keep the layout simple and easy to take in at a glance. Daily use suits it well, since the lines are thin and the palette is muted. It works for anyone who wants a bold but restrained image in a workspace where warm tones are welcome.
