Description
The desk mat edition of Robots at a Long Table has a rubber base.
Symmetrical robot heads rise in the upper middle of the frame, with the table at the bottom. Smaller machines and dark silhouetted figures sit in rows beneath cream-colored discs of light. The palette runs from rust orange and dark brown to cream, charcoal and muted rose.
A studio suits this piece because the scene is about a group working in one shared space together. Its eerie tone suits a long workday spent at the desk. Daily use suits this much detail, since the upper heads and the lower section stay easy to see.
