Description
The desk mat edition of Saguaro Cacti at Sunset has a rubber base.
Two dark shapes stand in a wide field, with tall saguaro, shrubs and dry grass around them. A low sun rests in the upper left, and its glow passes through a hazy sky over layered ridges. Golden light outlines the grass and plants, and the colors run from golden orange and warm amber to deep brown and soft peach.
A reading nook suits this image, since the sunset tones make a quiet backdrop for notes, letters and papers. The living room also works, where a workstation sees steady daily use. In a hallway, the pair gives passersby a still view each time they walk by, without any busy detail.
