Description
You can order Sea Monster Attacking Ships on a desk mat, with a rubber base.
Fire glows orange across the lower frame, reflecting off the water beneath a cloudy sky. The creature’s open head sits upper left of center, its scaly body rising out of churning darkness. Charcoal black, deep teal-gray and pale gray-green make up the palette. The digital illustration style gives the picture a menacing tone that feels epic.
A studio desk suits this piece because the monster and small ships give the eye a clear subject during long hours of drawing or editing. In a game room, the glow from the fire echoes the lights of a screen. Daily use keeps the picture in view, with the heavy sky staying in the background.
