Description
The wall tapestry edition of Sprinting Athlete in Red has hemmed edges.
The scene shows a muscular sprinter in a vivid red tank top and charcoal grey shorts, caught in a forward leap. Loose brushstrokes and streaks trail behind him, with dust-like flecks drifting across the warm beige ground. The lower part dissolves into grey and off-white smudges, while the upper center keeps the face sharp. An oil-painting look gives the whole piece a rough, open texture.
Hang it in an entryway, on a narrow stretch of wall where the tall, upright figure fits. The runner’s full-length forward stride makes the tall format work well in a narrow space.
