Description
Two Red-Crowned Cranes at Sunset is made to order as a poster.
Near the center-left, the cranes stand in the lower half of the picture, their necks bending toward the water. Behind them a large sun sits over layered terracotta mountains, and small birds cross the upper sky. Plum blossom branches frame both sides in vermilion. Cream beige and charcoal black keep the palette quiet and balanced.
A bedroom works well with this calm scene of cranes wading in still water. Hang it on a narrow wall, such as beside a doorway, where the tall birds and slender plum branches fit the height of the space.
