Description
The canvas print edition of Underwater Ruins with Arches has a pine frame.
The scene shows a sunlit underwater ruin of classical arches and carved columns. Moss, coral and bare branching growths cover the stone. Light falls from the surface through deep teal water, and small fish drift over a shallow, rippling pool in the foreground. The central archway opens toward a bright far end of the corridor.
This fits a hallway, where the arched corridor in the picture echoes the length of the passage. Hang it above a sideboard or low console, centred at eye level, so the light at the far archway draws the eye down the hall.
