Description
Vintage Desk Globe is made to order as a canvas print.
The scene centers on a vintage desk globe showing North and South America. Its ringed base is brass-toned, and a meridian arc curves behind it. The background is filled with watercolor washes in pastel yellow, blush pink and sky blue, giving a dreamy, soft finish. Cream and golden brown round out the palette, keeping the tone warm and gentle.
A reading nook is a good fit, since a single piece above a chair gives the room one clear point of interest. In a home office, the view of North and South America suits a space used for planning trips or studying geography. Its light tones keep a busy shelf from feeling crowded.
