Description
You can order Vintage Mushroom Field Guide as a framed poster, with a pine frame.
The scene shows spotted red caps, a honey-colored chanterelle-like fungus and a large brown-capped species on the upper tier. Below, orange, tan and cream mushrooms sit among small ferns and purple flowers. The pale, aged background holds warm ochre tones, and moss green and stone grey mark the ledge and base.
Hang it as one of a pair with a similar botanical print, with both at the same height above a sideboard or console. The two woodland fungus studies then read as a matched set.
