Description
With a pine frame, Violinist Playing by Glowing Embers is printed as a framed poster.
The scene shows a man with curly hair in a dark jacket and open-collared cream shirt. He sits on a stool and draws a bow across his violin. Smoky light and orange embers rise from the floor beneath him, while the background dissolves into soft, blurred shapes of slate blue and charcoal. Burnt amber and warm ochre give the picture a glowing, dramatic warmth.
Hang it above a desk or shelf, leaving about a hand’s width between the surface and the bottom edge of the frame so the glowing embers sit close to eye level. The lit violinist in the upper half of the picture then stands out against the dark background.
