Description
The desk mat edition of Woman in Dark Ruffles has a rubber base.
The painted figure has pale skin and dark hair pinned up loosely. Her black gown rises to a ruffled neckline, with a gold pendant at the throat. The backdrop is charcoal, and pale ivory and near black fill the rest of the frame. Muted gold keeps the palette warm, and the digital illustration looks moody and quiet.
Place it in a study, where it stays in view through a long workday. Its plain grey backdrop keeps the workspace uncluttered, and the single figure gives the eye one clear subject. It suits anyone who works with a screen and wants one serious image nearby.
