Description
With a rubber base, Woman Seated Under Blue Sky is printed on a desk mat.
Warm light crosses her black sleeveless top, buckled belt and rust-orange skirt, while distant birds pass through the clouds. The digital illustration uses sky blue, burnt orange, charcoal black and warm amber. Her face sits in the upper third of the frame, and the stone ledge leads the eye across the scene.
A studio desk suits this piece, since a quiet scene gives the eye a place to rest during long stretches of making things. Set it beside a laptop or sketchbook, where it stays in daily view and close to the work at hand. The amber tones sit well against a wooden surface.
