Description
Choose the desk mat version of World Map on Parchment, with three sizes.
Fine lines mark the country borders on a gray chart that fills the upper part of the picture. Its background is a mottled tan with sepia brown and pale amber light across the paper. The lower third is open texture, so the bottom of the picture feels plain and calm. Overall, the tone is adventurous yet restrained, with no bright colors.
A home office suits it, since the piece gives a plain desk wall something to look at during a workday. In a cafe, the dark tones fit a table where people read or sketch while they wait. Its nostalgic feel suits anyone who enjoys old maps and quiet scenes. It fits daily use well, because the tones stay calm through a long afternoon.
