Description
With a rubber base, Zombie Painting a Portrait is printed on a desk mat.
The figure sits left of center, brush raised toward a canvas on the right. Its painted face copies its decayed features. Dark green and muted teal fill the murky backdrop, with pale sage, rust and ochre yellow in the highlights. The tone is grim and unsettling.
A desk in a studio suits anyone who paints or sketches each day, since the scene shows a painter at work. Its spooky mood brings some character to a plain workspace. Set it where light is low so the glowing eyes and dark background stand out.
