Description

The desk mat edition of Mushrooms on Mossy Ground has a rubber base.

Tall brown-capped mushrooms rise toward the right, and smaller amber and rust toadstools gather in front of them. Green moss and lichen line the bottom edge, where the damp earth looks soft. The palette runs from warm beige to deep red, with muted amber tying the groups together. The style leans to a mixed-media, old-fashioned look.

Placed on a desk in a reading nook, this piece gives a steady woodland view during long stretches of reading or writing. Its beige background is light enough to sit beside papers and notebooks without crowding the work. It fits a shared workspace as well as a single table, since the cluster stays visible from a chair.
