Description
Vintage Desk Globe is made to order on a desk mat.
The globe shows North and South America, with a curved meridian arc behind it. Watercolor washes in sky blue, cream and golden brown fill the background in loose layers. The palette stays light and dreamy, with a brass-toned base anchoring the lower part of the image.
A home office is a practical place for this piece, since a desk-side view of the Americas gives the eye a simple break from the screen. In a reading nook, the warm cream and golden brown tones suit a corner set aside for slow reading with a book.
